Customer Snapfish would like the ability to determine which hypervisor a VM gets assigned to. As it is currently, when they spin up 20 or so VMs they all get assigned to one hypervisor. then they need to go back and manually migrate them off to other hypervisors.
It sounds like Snapfish needs a feature for better load balancing or placement control during VM provisioning. Many virtualization platforms offer options like affinity/anti-affinity rules, host groups, or specific placement policies to address this issue. Configuring these would allow the customer to define distribution strategies so VMs are evenly spread across hypervisors automatically.
